Andaman Port Takes Part in Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference 2022

From 26 to 28 September 2022, Andaman Port Sdn Bhd (Andaman Port), a member of MMC Group participated in the 38th Annual Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference 2022 (APPC) held at Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.


APPEC is an annual event that creates new business networking opportunities and market intelligence for global oil and gas producers, STS service providers, oil traders, equipment suppliers, ship (tanker) owners and marine operators for a networking session.


At the conference, Andaman Port featured Yan STS Port as one of the most strategic Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer locations in Southeast Asia. Andaman Port is the exclusive license holder and service provider for STS transfer operations of Gas (LNG & LPG) and petroleum products in Yan STS Port. The gazetted area for Yan STS Port is approximately 554 square kilometres, accounting for 20 nautical miles from the Yan coastline. Yan offers strategic location at the northern entrance of the Straits of Malacca, which is the busiest trade route in the world with over 100,000 ships using these waters a year.


With more than 1000 participants, the 38th Annual Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference 2022 is the most prestigious event in Asia Pacific's oil industry calendar and at the core of Asia's most important meeting place for the global oil industry.
