On 25 March 2025, Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd. ("Alam Flora"), a subsidiary of Malakoff Corporation Berhad ("Malakoff"), held its annual Majlis Khatam Al-Quran at its Headquarters as part of its ongoing efforts to honour and enliven the spiritual essence of the holy month of Ramadan.
This meaningful tradition serves as a platform for employees to come together in appreciation of the beauty and teachings of the Al-Quran, while strengthening the bonds of unity, faith, and camaraderie within the organisation. More than just a ceremonial event, the programme reinforces Alam Flora's commitment to nurturing spiritual well-being and creating a positive, values-driven workplace culture.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Encik Mohamad Fardaus Rahmat, General Manager of the Human Capital Department of Alam Flora, who joined employees in marking this spiritually enriching occasion. The event featured a collective Quran recital, reflective prayers and a shared sense of purpose, creating a moment of connection that transcended departments and job roles.
This initiative is part of Malakoff's broader Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") efforts and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal ("UN SDG") No. 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, which promotes inclusive and sustainable economic growth, productive employment, and decent work environments for all.
