In celebration of Tanjung Bin Power Plant's ("TBPP") 19th Anniversary and Earth Hour 2025, TBPP successfully hosted the Eco Fun Run 2025 on 22 February at Tanjung Bin Complex. The event encouraged a healthy lifestyle, strengthened camaraderie among employees, in-house contractors and the local community, while reinforcing TBPP's commitment to sustainability.
With 265 participants, including TBPP and Tanjung Bin Energy ("TBE") staff, in-house contractors and villagers, the seven-kilometer run saw outstanding performances. In the men's category, first place was secured by Mazrim Mashar, second place by Afifi Tahir and third place by Shaufik Manap. In the women's category, Nabila Ain Ahmad claimed first place, followed by Nur Aisyah Mohd Kamal in second place and Sarah Fasya Abu Bakar Sidek in third place. In the open category, Syaqiq Zuhdi emerged as the champion, with Haikal Iman finishing in second place and Hafiy Iman in third place.
Beyond the race, interactive booths and activities promoted health and environmental awareness. This initiative aligns with Malakoff's commitment to sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal ("SDG") No. 3 - Good Health and Well-being, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages aligned with Malakoff's overarching purpose of 'Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities'.
