On 3 February 2025, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, was abuzz with excitement as the Human Resources (HR) Department of the company hosted the Hall of Champion Luncheon to honour the winners of the inter-departmental sports competition held in November and December 2024. The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of Senai International Airport staff who showcased their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship across three sports activities: badminton, volleyball, and bowling.
The highlight of the luncheon was the medal presentation by Kennedy Ayu, Chief Executive Officer of Senai International Airport, who personally congratulated the winners. In his speech, Kennedy Ayu commended the team spirit and camaraderie displayed throughout the competition. He also encouraged the winners to maintain their competitive edge and bring their A-game to the upcoming MMC Games scheduled for June this year.
With over 50 staff participating, the Senai Airport Sports Game 2024 brought an infectious energy to the workplace. Teams were formed enthusiastically following the announcement by the HR Department, with colleagues strategising and practising to make the most of each other’s strengths in the various sports. The friendly yet competitive environment helped foster a deeper sense of unity among the staff.
This initiative is part of Senai International Airport’s continuous effort to promote work-life balance and employee well-being, recognising that a healthy workforce is also a productive workforce. Events like these not only encourage physical activity but also strengthen relationships across departments.
