On 21 March 2025, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, proudly announced its RM2.4 million zakat contribution for the financial year 2024, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. The ceremonial presentation took place at the ‘Majlis Serahan Zakat dan Kurniaan Bantuan serta Iftar Jamaie’ held at Masjid Jamek Sultan Ismail, Batu Pahat.
The auspicious event was honored by the esteemed presence of DYAM Tunku Mahkota Ismail, the Regent of Johor, together with YAM Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor and YAB Dato' Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor, highlighting the significance of this contribution to the State’s welfare initiatives.
