On 26 March 2025, Malakoff Corporation Berhad ("Malakoff") brought joy and festive spirit to the residents of Asrama Darul Falah PERKIM ("ASDAF") as part of its Share Our Love Programme, an annual initiative dedicated to easing the burden of children who have lost their parents or are unable to celebrate Aidilfitri with their loved ones. The residents of ASDAF are indigenous (Orang Asli) children (orphans and converts) from villages and remote areas who are receiving education at a hostel in Kuala Lumpur so that they can receive better care and be able to compete with other communities.
Malakoff's Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, Encik Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, together with members of the senior management and staff, presented a donation of RM5,000.00 to Ustaz Mohd Azmi Azman, Principal of ASDAF. The team also distributed goodie bags and duit raya to 58 children who were present, adding warmth and smiles to the evening.
The programme fostered a spirit of togetherness through the sharing of iftar and congregational prayers, including Tarawih, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for all involved. Beyond the celebration, the initiative reflects Malakoff's continued commitment to giving back to society through efforts that nurture community well-being and support the vision of a caring and inclusive society.
This initiative is part of Malakoff's ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") efforts and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal ("UN SDG") No. 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, which promotes sustained and inclusive economic growth, productive employment, and decent work for all. It also aligns with Malakoff's overarching purpose of 'Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities', reinforcing the company's dedication to creating positive and lasting impact beyond the workplace.
