Northport Celebrates Female Employees on International Women's Day 2025

On 7 March 2025, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, celebrated International Women's Day by honouring its female employees. The celebration, held in conjunction with International Women's Day, which falls on 8 March every year, paid tribute to the remarkable contributions of women across diverse professional fields within the organisation.

Organised by Northport’s ESG Sub-Committee (Social & Well-being), approximately 150 flower bouquets were distributed to female employees across various divisions and departments as a token of appreciation. Northport’s Chief Executive Officer, Fakhrul Azhar Tajudin, together with the ESG Committee members, personally handed the flowers to the employees at their workstations to express gratitude for their dedication. The celebration concluded with a group video shoot with Northport’s female employees.

Aligned with this year’s theme, ‘Aspiring Women, Building Legacy’, the celebration highlighted the pivotal role women play as pillars of their families, society and the nation.  The event also reflected Northport’s unwavering commitment to its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, ensuring that gender diversity and inclusivity remain key priorities.
