Senai International Airport Welcomes Asean Ministers and Delegates for ATF 2025

Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, is delighted and honoured to serve as one of the main gateways for the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2025, which takes place from 15–20 January 2025. With preparations in full swing, the airport is ready to welcome esteemed ministers, delegates, and industry leaders from across ASEAN and beyond with a warm and memorable reception.

This year’s ATF carries the theme “Unity in Motion: Shaping ASEAN's Tourism Tomorrow,” underscoring the region's collective commitment to advancing a sustainable and thriving tourism industry. This prominent annual forum sees the participation of Tourism Ministers from ASEAN member countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam, as well as dialogue partners including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, and Russia.

Key highlights of ATF 2025 include high-level ministerial meetings being hosted at DoubleTree by Hilton, Johor Bahru, along with the TRAVEX trade show and various conferences taking place at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre. These events aim to foster collaboration and chart the path for a dynamic and interconnected tourism ecosystem across ASEAN. Through the exchange of innovative ideas and the strengthening of strategic partnerships, the forum is set to play a crucial role in shaping the future of tourism in the region.

Senai International Airport, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), Tourism Johor, and Majlis Perbandaran Kulai (MPKu), has created a welcoming atmosphere for all arriving dignitaries. The airport proudly features the iconic ASEAN arch and dynamic digital banners, ensuring delegates feel the spirit of unity and hospitality that Johor is renowned for.
