Charting The ESG Path: PTP Continues to Play Active Role Towards MSME Sustainability

4 March 2025, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group, was honoured to participate in the 2025 MSME Sustainability Series: Charting the ESG Path for MSMEs, held on 25th February 2025 at DoubleTree by Hilton, Johor Bahru.

Organized by SME Corp. Malaysia, this significant event aimed to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in adopting impactful environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.

PTP Head of HSSE & Sustainability Division, Khairul Amalin Abdul Rahman, delivered a compelling presentation, sharing PTP's own sustainability journey and outlining practical strategies for encouraging ESG adoption throughout our supply chain.

Khairul's insights emphasized the importance of taking actionable steps, regardless of size, towards a more sustainable future. He highlighted how PTP fosters a collaborative approach with its suppliers, demonstrating that collective efforts drive meaningful change.

The 2025 MSME Sustainability Series reinforced the importance of shared responsibility in building a sustainable future, and PTP is proud to be a part of this collective effort.
