On 18 January 2025, Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (Alam Flora), a subsidiary of Malakoff, successfully hosted its fourth annual Cyber Eco Hunt 2025 at the Bentong Educational Community Park (BECO) in Bentong, Pahang. This programme remains a key initiative in fostering environmental sustainability awareness among the public.
The event was officiated by Khairul Azman Sapwani, Alam Flora’s State Manager for Pahang, who also flagged off the participants on their green exploration. For this year, 26 participants, including celebrities, social media influencers and bloggers, undertook a series of interactive tasks at five designated checkpoints. These challenges were designed to promote sustainable practices, encourage creativity and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the environment.
The Cyber Eco Hunt not only educates the public on responsible waste management but also recognises and honours the tireless efforts of Alam Flora's unsung heroes, whose dedication is crucial for maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability.
The event is a part of Malakoff’s commitment towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities, which aims to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. It is also aligned with Malakoff’s overarching purpose of ‘Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities’.
