On 7 February 2025, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) and Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), members of MMC Group, hosted a Chinese New Year dinner to express the companys’ gratitude and appreciation to customers, business partners and stakeholders while celebrating the new year. The dinner was also conducted to recognise those who have contributed to the ports’ success and continuous growth of these two southern gateways.
The esteemed guests were warmly welcomed by Mark Hardiman, PTP’s Chief Executive Officer, and Md Derick Basir, Johor Port's Chief Executive Officer, along with representatives from both ports. Among the distinguished attendees were Johor Port Authority's (LPJ) Chairman, Dr. Haji Rosnan Fathlal, and General Manager, Dato’ Monaliza Suhaimi, representatives from the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore, representatives of Consulate-General of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as industry captains, association leaders, and executives from customer companies.
During the event, both PTP and Johor Port showcased the companies’ respective highlights and achievements of 2024, with thank-you notes delivered by the CEOs of both companies. The evening was further enlivened by vibrant lion dances, mascots, a photo booth, a live band performance by local artists, and interactive games.
This meaningful gathering not only served as a valuable networking platform but also strengthened the bonds of friendship and cooperation among customers and business partners of PTP and Johor Port.
