On 14 March 2025, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd ("Northport"), a member of MMC Group, organised its annual Ihya' Ramadhan programme to foster the spirit of Ramadhan among employees and the underprivileged community.
Present during the program were Northport's Board Member, Encik Asyraf Suhaimi Sulaiman and Chief Executive Officer, En. Fakhrul Azhar Tajudin. Held at Surau Al-Hidayah Northport, the programme was also attended by the senior management, committee members from employee unions and associations, as well as employee representatives from all divisions and departments.
During the event, financial contributions were made to the widows and orphans of Northport's deceased employees to help them prepare for Aidilfitri. Representatives from 10 mosques surrounding Northport were invited to receive Northport's zakat contributions, which will be redistributed to asnaf within their respective localities.
Ihya' Ramadhan is an annual programme organised by Northport to enliven the holy month through spiritual activities and financial contributions, aligning with Northport's aspiration to making a positive impact on the underprivileged community.
