Penang Port Welcomes the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia

On 24 January 2025, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, welcomed a courtesy visit from the Embassy of The Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia. Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port, welcomed H.E. Anvar Anarbaev, Ambassador of The Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia, and his delegation. The visit aimed to foster stronger bilateral relations between Penang Port and The Kyrgyz Republic.

During the visit, Penang Port provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the company’s operations. A presentation was also conducted where Penang Port delved into the port's key activities, such as handling containerised and conventional cargo. This courtesy visit provided a valuable opportunity for Penang Port to foster stronger ties with the Embassy of The Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia and explore more potential areas of cooperation in the port industry.
